Is there a way to delete the memory card without removing it from the phone and using a card reader?  I do not have a card reader and I have lost my link cable to connect to my pc.

I would like to erase the memory card, but is there a way to erase it from the phone without removeing it?  I would then like to backup my contacts onto the empty memory card.  Can anyone help me with these two issues?  Thanks

JWalt

On your first question:  sounds simple enough, but I have stuff on my card I can't seem to get off....  As far as backing up your contacts:  they are under you pim file (file explorer/mydevice).  If you save that file to your computer or where ever, you'll have them.  It also had my appointments and what have you.  When you want to use it again, you'll have to rename the pim file on your handheld (pim1) then copy the pim file to your handheld.  Hit reset then you are ready to go.
