I upgrade a few weeks ago to Windows 6.1 from a link on one of these posts.  Does anyone know if there is any difference between the prior upgrade and the upgrade that Sprint has released?  I'm wondering, to be safe, should I install the version that Sprint has released??

The Sprint version is a little different.  What exactly?  I don't know.  However the version number is a different.  IYAM, I would say to reinstall with the official Sprint version.  I did.

I completed the upgrade from the HTC web site.  No cosmetic differences from the previous version of 6.1.  The new ROM version is 3.03.651.4.  I'm unable to locate the version number for Windows.

I'm running an earlier leaked version of the official upgrade ROM. It's version number is the same as given by crowegreg, except that it has a ".2" at the end, instead of the ".4" at the end of the official release version. The version number of the Windows operating system for my .2 rom is probably the same as the .4 rom. Mine is...

I just noticed that the GPS function within Google maps is no longer working. Has anyone else experienced this problem? When I upgraded to WM 6.1 on my Touch, my desktop was Windows XP.

my gps is not working with google maps either.

I put some steps in under  ----  Troubleshooting >> No GPS after Upgrade --- Check it out and see if it helps.
