So now I am a Touch owner and no longer a Mogul owner.   They were supposed to be sending me either a new or refurbished mogul, but sent out the Touch instead.  Guy at the store said this was the 4th one in a week he has seen come back a Touch.  Guess the Mogul isn't being restocked.

I had the 6700 before I got my Touch.  I went for the touch more because of size and "cool factor" than anything (I"m satisfied with my choice by the way).  Anyway, my point is the Mogul is (I thought) a "higher end" phone than the Touch.  I think if I had the Mogul and they sent me another phone, it had better be one of "equal or greater" value. 

So do you think it is one of equal or greater value? 

Differences:

Mogul:  Keyboard, WiFi, GPS with new ROM update.  Flash on the camera, but colors are washed out on pics with or without flash.

Touch: Sprint TV, Slim, better internal program & touchFlo plus better overall navigation.  No flash, but better true colors on pictures.

Both phones pretty much do all the same things.  Sure, you can add programs to the Mogul, but that is all having to hack to make it better. 

Mogul is $549 at regular price and is now available for $199 after all the discounts, and rebates.  Touch is $499 at regular price and available at $249 after all the discounts and rebates. 

So is equal or greater value? 

I personally been advising AGAINST a Touch. Read my earlier posts. I'm having to reboot several (> 15) times a week!!!!

But on the same token, there are hundreds of users with (apparantly) no problems at all. You can hope that you fall into this more fortunate category or call Sprint to see if they can send you your trusted Mogul
