Google maps doesn't do much with gps other than find your location.  Your best best is to get mapquest navigator 5.0 for $50 a year.  A lot cheaper than telnav .  Just google the mapquest and it is easy to install.

Good info on Mapquest.  I've been using Telenav at about double the price.  While I haven't had any problems with them, the lower price for mapquest looks good. 

CORRECTION:  I already had/have it on my vision plan (just couldn't use it before) so there is no reason to purchase mapquest.  Works with no problem.
